Freemasonry, Who We Are and What We Do
First of all, thank you, to the listeners. We have had a lot of interest in our efforts and we hope you find our work enjoyable as well as informational.
For those of who may be new to listening to this type of media, all you have to do is click on the title above. The file will download and open in your default player. (This may take a minute or two) For additional subscription options I have included a link to Googles “Feed 101” a tutorial on feed subscriptions, found in the right hand column of this page.
Our first show is an Introduction and overview of Freemasonry in the 21’st century.
Greenleaf Gardens Lodge No. 670
in Whittier, California. He discusses the following;
• California Freemasonry
• Our Mission
• Masonic writings
• The question “What do masons do?”
• A few Historical points
• Meetings and the three degree’s of a Blue Lodge
• Masonic Youth Groups
• Community Service
• Some common questions
• Benefits of Membership
One of Masonry’s traditions is that we DO NOT solicit members. Interested applicants must ask for an application on their own.
Membership is open to men age 18 years or older who believe in a Supreme Being. We welcome men of all ethnic and religious backgrounds who meet the qualifications and standards.
If you are interested in applying for membership or have other questions concerning the fraternity, contact the lodge secretary at (562) 695-2755 for a membership information and application packet.

Welcome
We have a long history, millions of Brothers and surely just as many stories worth sharing. If you would like to contribute feel free to send in your story, favorite Masonic paper or photos. Our calendar for 2008 has plenty of room for your story. We intend to produce a podcast each month, the first in January, with an occasional Blog post.
